All in all, not much to cheer about in media land - the past week has been one long drool, reporting good for nothing but a wipe and a flush.

Waited 45 minutes to vote this morning, snapped at the Bush old guy who trie dto hand me a “sample” ballot. I told him to get out o fmy face, that he offended me deeply, and he hit me back with, “So you want higher taxes?” Old guy.

In my wait I was wondering whether to rejoice - citizens coming together at the Lake Anne Community Center, almost a festive mood as we exercised the vote; but no, I was glum - even if Kerry carries the district an region by a wide margin, many of them must have been casting votes for Bush. Creepy.
